The Radiologists who work at our clinic are all specialists trained in Diagnostic Radiology. Both Dr. Irving and Dr. Chappell have worked at Saskatoon Medical Imaging for many years and were members of the original group of radiologists that included Dr. L. Howie. All of the radiologists at Saskatoon Medical Imaging are faculty in the College of Medicine, University of Saskatchewan. Dr. L. Howie retired in 2005 creating an opportunity for the University Medical Imaging Consultants (UMIC) to become a part of this excellent facility. The radiologists of UMIC, for the most part, work in the Saskatoon Health Region at the Royal University Hospital. They are all faculty of the College of Medicine, University of Saskatchewan. The clinic is engaged in providing learning opportunities for radiologists in training and technologists in training as well. We enjoy the opportunity to be involved in the development of the radiologists and technologists of the future. You may meet some of these trainees when you visit the clinic.
